Contact-form enquiries are delivered to my business Gmail account, where they may be stored as email correspondence.

I do not sell contact-form information or use it for unrelated marketing purposes.

7. Remote Technology Support – Microsoft Quick Assist

Tech Ease Assist may use Microsoft Quick Assist to provide remote technical support.

Quick Assist allows me to view or interact with your computer remotely when you have initiated or authorised a support session.

Before a remote support session begins:

  • I will explain the reason for the remote connection.
  • You will be required to provide the necessary authorisation for the session.
  • You should remain aware of and, where appropriate, supervise the actions carried out during the support session.
  • I will only access your computer for the purpose of providing the support or assistance you have requested.

During a remote support session, I may be able to see information displayed on your screen, including files, applications, documents, emails or other personal information that is visible while providing support.

I will only access information that is reasonably necessary to diagnose or resolve the issue you have asked me to assist with.

Microsoft Quick Assist does not provide Tech Ease Assist with permanent or ongoing access to your computer. Remote access is limited to the authorised support session.

You should close the Quick Assist session when the support work has been completed.

You should not provide me with passwords, authentication codes or other security credentials unless this is specifically necessary and you have been advised to do so. Where possible, you should enter passwords and other confidential credentials yourself.

8. Microsoft 365, SharePoint and Teams

Where I provide Microsoft 365, SharePoint or Teams support, I may need to work with information held within your Microsoft environment.

My access will be limited to what is reasonably necessary to provide the service requested.

You remain responsible for your Microsoft accounts, permissions, content, retention settings and organisational policies.

Where I process personal information on behalf of a business customer, the respective responsibilities of both parties may also be governed by the terms of the service agreement or a separate data processing agreement.

I do not sell or rent your personal information.
